Alexandria Srubek
Alexandria “Alex” Danielle Srubek passed away in Pasco, Washington on December 24, 2020.
Alex was born on June 4, 1984 in Kennewick, Washington to parents David and Debbie Espinoza. Alex graduated from Southridge High School in 2003, and received her Medical Assistant Degree in 2009 from Charter College.
In 2011, Alex married the love of her life, Matt Srubek, and together they had two beautiful children, Carter and Gabrielle.
Alex accepted Christ early in life during a local Vacation Bible School. We are so thankful of God’s Promise of Eternal Life (John 3:16) and look forward to when we will be reunited together again!
Alex’s favorite role in life was being a mother. Carter and Gabby were always her top priority and loved spending time with them. In 2018, Alex left work to be a full-time wife and mother. Alex’s favorite activity to do with her children was to take them to the pool and swim. Alex loved to swim, and especially with her kids! Alex also loved to cook for her family. When she wasn’t doing activities with the kids, you could find Alex in the kitchen making something delicious from scratch. You also rarely saw Alex using a recipe; she enjoyed making her own creations!
Alex was also a gifted singer! She began singing at an early age and sang in public numerous times. Some of our fondest memories of Alex singing was when she sang as the lead female in the musical “Brigadoon” at Southridge High School, the National Anthem at local sporting events, church and at the funerals of her grandparents. We rejoice that Alex has now joined Heaven’s Choir singing with all the angels!
Over the course of Alex’s working career, she was always in the medical field. Alex’s greatest interests were learning all things medical and passionate about helping others. Whether it was working with animals or people, Alex showed knowledgeable and loving care.
The last vacation Alex had with her family was to Lincoln City, Oregon, perfectly fitting because Alex loved going to the beach. Alex and Matt were married overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and where the family spent many happy holidays together.
Alex is survived by her husband Matt, children Carter and Gabrielle, parents David and Debbie Espinoza, five siblings, mother-in-law Kit Srubek and numerous cousins and relatives. Alex is preceded in death by grandparents Ronald and Margaret Hemsworth, grandmother Margarita Santana, cousin Noah Snyder, father-in-law Paul Srubek and grandfather Toby Totten.
