Gary Frankfurt, 84, passed away due to complications of Parkinson’s disease on September 11, 2023, in Kennewick WA. at Desert Wind Gardens,

Gary Frankfurt was born on November 4, 1938, in Fairmont, MN, to Harvey Frankfurt and Helen McConaughey. He graduated Fairmont High School in May 1957. Following his graduation, Gary served 4 years in the US Navy aboard the USS O’Brien where he was honorably discharged. Afterwards Gary worked for several companies performing scientific research and design in the aeronautical industry before retiring with Boeing.

Gary is survived by his wife of 63 years Marylyn Frankfurt of Kennewick, WA., and three children, son Don (wife Carla) Frankfurt of Joliet, MT., daughter Kathy Jones – of Kennewick WA., daughter Aileen (husband Jason Loos) Fast – of Pasco, WA., along with eight grandkids – Amy, Casey, Michelle, Steven, Brandon, Jeremy, Curtis, Preston. And two great grandchildren – Ryder and Mitchell.

Gary is preceded in death by his daughter Terry Lynn Frankfurt and his brother Donald Lee Frankfurt.

The service for Gary Frankfurt will be held on Friday, at 2:00 PM at Einans at Sunset.

Visitation: Friday, at 1:00 PM at Einans at Sunset.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 PM

Burial: SMG (Sunset Memorial Gardens) – Veterans, Richland, WA.

Reception to follow at Country Gentleman in Kennewick, WA.
