Gloria Irene Jones
Gloria Irene (Schmuck) Jones, 84, passed away peacefully at her home in Pasco, Washington on September 17, 2023. She was surrounded by her four children and husband of 63 years. Gloria was born on May 28, 1939 in Luverne, Minnesota. She was the third of three children (Harley and Deanna) of Alvin and Alice (Staeffler) Schmuck.
Gloria loved spending time in the garden, camping, playing games, puzzles, quilting and other crafts. Paul and Gloria spent many years traveling in their RV creating memories and stories. Paul and Gloria lived in Longview, WA for over 30 years where she hosted countless birthdays and holidays for family.
Gloria is survived by her husband Paul Jones, her four children Becky Rehwalt (Robert), Paul Jones (Lisa), Michael Jones (Tiara), David Jones (Cathy), seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her brother Harley.
Her memory will forever be cherished. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
A wonderful aunt to me and great aunt to my children. My daughter, Maple Gloria, is named after her. She was always smiling and had such a kind heart. She will be forever missed.
Gloria was my dear sweet sister-in-law for over 54 years! We shared many special times together in Rainier, Longview and on Camano Island! Her laughter was contagious and I will miss her terribly .
A true gift to my heart! Many cherished moments till we meet again my friend
