Andrea Jean DeMyer

Andrea J. DeMyer (Rowe) passed away on July 17, 2025, in Richland. She was born on August 27, 1946, at Kadlec Hospital in Richland to Robert and Virginia Rowe.

Andrea grew up with four siblings—Dennis, Joseph, Ginny, and Kevin—and attended Christ the King School before graduating from Columbia High School in 1964.

In 1966, Andrea married Dennis Brown, and together they had a son, Mark Brown. After their divorce, she married John DeMyer in 1971. They built a life together and raised three children: Tanya (Dion), Allison (Weld), and Jason DeMyer.

Andrea was a woman of deep faith who loved God and found joy in music of all kinds. Some of her happiest moments were spent with close friends and at family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband John, her four children, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her brother Kevin Rowe, and her sister Ginny Duve.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Grace Clinic or to Mirror Ministries.  These were both organizations that were close to Andrea’s heart.

  • John, kids and family.

We cannot begin to tell you how the world has lost one of the best living souls. One of the best persons ever. She will live forever in our hearts and minds. We are so blessed to have shared a dinner with you all last summer and to see the life in her eyes when we walked in the door! We love you all so much and if there is anything we can do we are here for you! I love you, uncle John! I love you Mark, Tanya, Ali, & Jason! For the record I never blamed your mom for our cat Simon! 🤣

  • Our heart’s go out to you, John and to all your family in the loss of our dear friend and your wife. But, we have so many joyful memories to carry us. Visits to your various homes, gatherings where we interacted with you both and with our crazy family get-together with fun, food, and those WATER fights! Will never forget the theme dinners, the family Chili Cook Off, lounging around your pool, your giant Christmas Tree, and so much more! Andi always had a welcoming smile and hug. Beautiful lady, warm and kind. We wish we could have said our good byes and told her we loved her, just one more time. Be blessed, God Bless, and know we love all of you! Doug and Gail

  • Andi was a Class of 64 wonderful classmate and friend. She had a beautiful voice which she shared with all. Just this past June 14, we spent time visiting with her and others at the CK Catholic School reunion, along with others from the first CK graduating class, 1960. It was so good to see her, and we all were so grateful for the event. Rest in peace, sweet Andi.

  • Andi was a wonderful Class of 64 classmate and friend. She had the most beautiful voice and shared it with all. Just this past June 14, we visited with Andi at the CK Catholic School reunion. What a joy to see her and other members of that first graduating class at CK, 1960. What a blessing that we were able to do so. Rest in peace, sweet Andi.

  • Such a beautiful person.
First met when her family lived down the street from my childhood home.
She was always friendly and kind. Lost track of her when they moved to Spokane.
    Condolences to her family.

  • I never had a sister however Andi became my sister when I married Kevin. Her smile brightened a room, people were always welcome at their house. She was an amazing cook … Our favorite times were our time together out at the farm and later at their house in Richland. My memories of Andi will last a lifetime. She will be missed tremendously.
