Clarence Feser

In Loving Memory of Clarence Feser

Clarence Feser passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2025, to be with Our Lord at the age of 92, in Richland, WA. He was born on August 12th, 1932, to Elizabeth and Max Feser and grew up on a farm in Glen Ullin, ND.

Clarence moved to the Tri-Cities area when stationed with the army at Camp Hanford in Richland. It was there, at a local street dance, that he met the love of his life, Patricia. The two were married in 1956 and went on to build a beautiful life together, raising eight children filled with love, laughter, and shared values.

A talented carpenter and general contractor, Clarence started his own business, Industrial Cabinetry. Though he officially retired, he never stopped working with his hands, always happy to take on small projects well into his late 80s. There wasn’t much Clarence couldn’t build—whether it was homes, intricate cabinetry, or even transforming an old bus into the family RV. He also gave generously of his time and talents, often volunteering his skills for church and community projects.

Clarence was an accomplished accordion player. His love for German music and German heritage was reflected in yearly performances at Christ the King Sausage Fest and participation in accordion competitions in Leavenworth, WA and Kimberly, Canada.

More than any of Clarence’s many accomplishments, he will be remembered by all as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked hard every day and still found time to get down on the ground and play with his children and grandchildren, building not just things, but lasting memories and strong family bonds. Clarence will always be seen by his family as a gentle, patient and reassuring man; no problem was too big or unsolvable.

Clarence leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, hard work, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Feser, son Gerard Feser, his brother Rick Feser, sister Marilyn Lammer, brother Adrian Feser, and brother, Dick Feser. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Alice Feser of Kennewick, WA, his brother Arden Feser and wife Donna of Fargo, ND; his seven children: daughter Susan Henry and husband, Wayne of West Richland, WA, son Mike Feser and wife Julee of Richland, WA, son Steve Feser and wife Sharon of Richland, WA, son Joel Feser and wife, Robyn in Connecticut, daughter Julie Miller and husband Robert of Post Falls, ID, daughter Jeanne Norheim and husband Randy of North Richland, WA, daughter Michelle Faught and husband Mike of Spokane, WA. Clarence also leaves behind more than 40 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
