Pauline Cottrell, born on January 24, 1927, in Zinc, Arkansas transitioned peace July 15, 2025, in Richland, WA leaving behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones.

Known for her boundless curiosity and love of the written word, Pauline was often found with a book in hand, venturing into new worlds and illuminating her mind with ideas and insights that spanned a vast landscape of knowledge. Her thirst for learning was matched only by her deep appreciation for nature, which offered her solace and inspiration. Whether embarking on a brisk morning walk or savoring a quiet afternoon beneath the trees, the beauty of the natural world was a constant companion, enriching her spirit.

Above all, Pauline cherished the time spent with her family. From laughter-filled gatherings to heartfelt conversations, she cultivated a nurturing environment where love and warmth thrived. Each moment shared created lasting memories, weaving a tapestry of connection that speaks to the profound impact she had on those around her.

Pauline is survived by her loving grandchildren- granddaughter Traci Bouslaugh, grandson Kerry Cottrell Jr., granddaughter Crystal Poole, and grandson Greg Forbus, each carrying forth her spirit in their own lives. She is also survived by her dear sister Bernadine Sweetwood and daughter-in-law Marilyn Forbus, with whom she shared many cherished moments. She will be missed by her great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

With a life well lived, marked by simplicity and purpose, Pauline will be remembered for her profound impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. May her memory continue to guide and inspire, echoing through the lives she touched.
