Judith Kay Singleton
Judith K. Singleton, 67, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in the family home in Pasco, Washington.
Judy (affectionately known as Cookie by family and friends) was born on January 7, 1958, at Kadlec Hospital in Richland, Washington to Julius and Eloise (Brandon) Singleton, Sr. Judy was educated in the Pasco School District beginning at Whittier, Emerson, Stevens Jr. High and graduated from Pasco High School in 1977 and attended college at CBC. In 1980, Judy pursued a career with the State of Washington for 45 years, most recently working for the Department of Corrections, Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell, Washington.
Judy’s journey was marked by her quiet resilience and simple and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her gentle spirit touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of her kindness and generosity. Through seasons of joy and challenges, Judy remained steadfast, nurturing her relationships with family and friends, and finding peace in the simple pleasures of everyday life, especially cooking, fishing, an avid reader, crocheting, solving puzzles, and playing the latest games.
Judy is survived by her sisters Joeann (Freddie) Wallace, Shirley Jimerson, and Jacqueline Singleton; brothers Louis (Cindy) Jimerson, Richard (Maude) Jimerson, Robert Singleton, and Julius (Maria) Singleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
