Trudy Aldridge

Trudy Aldridge was born on January 22,1932 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Harlond and Hazel Cluck. She passed away on August 8, 2025 while in hospice care in Tavares, Florida.

At the age of 13, she moved with her family to Richland, Washington, where she graduated from Richland High School in 1950. That same year she married the love of her life, Jim Aldridge, beginning a marriage filled with love, devotion and shared adventures that lasted until his passing in 2008.

Together, Trudy and Jim built a home where laughter was frequent, love was abundant, and there was always room at the table for one more. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother to 3 sons, and a cherished friend to many. Her gentle humor, warm heart, and welcoming spirit touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Joe (Gayla) Aldridge and Ken (Heidi) Aldridge; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and her sister Juanita. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and her son Dale in 2011.

Her beautiful smile and ready laugh will be deeply missed. Her family is comforted by the knowledge that she is safe in the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ.

Currently, there is no service planned. Trudy will be interred next to her husband at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, Washington.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Mama Trudy a few years ago when she moved to Florida with Joe and Gayla. She was the sweetest lady and was always smiling ☺️. Rest up my sister in Christ til we meet again.

  • Trudy was indeed a warm soul with a very clever sense of humor! We so enjoyed her company during the times that we explored Richland toting along our mother, Ruth and Trudy for adventures!!

Mom always welcomed her time with Trudy in her constant recapping of every book they’ve ever read and sharing the intrigue with the ones they would swap between them! I’m sure she is happy to be joining her husband after all these long years without him! Loving memories!! Hugs to Joe and Gayla and all of the extended family during this difficult time of her passing. May you all remember every occasion with her fondly?
