Larry Ray Maxwell
Larry Maxwell, 84, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. He was born on August 26, 1941, and lived a life filled with compassion, hard work, creativity, and an unwavering faith in God.
Larry was the proud owner of a small print shop in downtown Pasco, where he served his community with honesty and dedication for many years. Beyond his business, he was a gifted woodworker, an avid gardener, and a man who found joy in the beauty of God’s creation. He loved backpacking and spending time in the mountains, especially around Mount Rainier, where he often found peace and spiritual renewal surrounded by nature’s majesty.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Artheta Maxwell; his older brother, Joe Maxwell; and his children, Dawn Maxwell, Tanya Maxwell Robirts, and her husband Daryl Robirts, Gerald Maxwell and his wife Dedra Flanagan Maxwell. Larry was a beloved grandfather to Ariel Robirts Linn, Sydney Robirts Boswell, Jarod Robirts and Joshua Maxwell; a great-grandfather to Trenton Robirts, Talon Wheeler, Gunner Boswell, Aurora Peterson, and Piper Lewis; and a great-great-grandfather to little Hazel Wheeler. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he cherished deeply.
Larry’s compassion, gentle spirit, and steadfast belief in God touched everyone who knew him. His legacy of love, faith, and appreciation for the natural world will live on through the countless lives he inspired.
