Allen Wayne DeHart, born on July 1, 1947, in Oakland, California, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, in Spokane, Washington. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Allen is survived by his loving spouse, Linda DeHart; children, Erik DeHart, Mike DeHart, Kris DeHart, Laura Cosens and Natasha DeHart. Grandchildren, Tony, Katie, Kim, Dylan, Jordan, Gregory, Trista. Great grandchildren Scott, Seth and sister Patty Thompson. He is preceded in death by his two daughters Michelle and Lisa, his parents Lloyd and Betty DeHart and his sister Cindy Adkins.

Allen proudly served in the Army, showcasing his dedication to his country. He was an active member of his church, always lending a helping hand where needed. His generous spirit extended beyond his family, he opened his heart and home to a homeless friend, helping him find his footing once again. He had a passion for genealogy, dedicating several years to uncovering his family’s history and connecting with loved ones. In his leisure time, he enjoyed gathering with friends and catching local baseball games, creating cherished memories that will be remembered fondly.

A graveside service will be held for Allen on October 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place at Einan’s Chapel from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Allen’s warmth, dedication to family, and community spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Tri-City Genealogical Society.
