Karen “Lynne” Forest

Karen Lynne Forest, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 72, in West Richland, WA. Born on October 21, 1952, in Richland, WA, Lynne spent her life devoted to her family and her passions. With a Bachelor’s Degree and a successful career as a bookkeeper at a law firm, she was known for her exceptional organizational skills and her warm personality.

Lynne was an enthusiastic fan of the Seattle Mariners, sharing countless joyful moments cheering on her favorite baseball team. She also enjoyed playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker, where her competitive spirit shined through among friends and family. A lover of reading, Lynne found solace in the pages of countless books, often sharing her favorite titles with her daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her three daughters, Sara Wimpy, Cassandra Fleming, and Crystal Forest, who will cherish the memories they’ve created together. Lynne adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, holding them close to her heart, and relishing every moment spent in their laughter and love. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Alexandra Mackenzie, and all who knew her.

A PRIVATE cremation ceremony to honor Karen’s life will take place on October 20, 2025, at 9:00 am, at 915 Bypass Highway, Richland, WA. As we celebrate her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to so many, we invite family to remember the laughter, love, and beautiful moments shared with Lynne
