Charlie Symons
Charles “Charlie” Arnold Symons II, 54, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. He was born on March 25, 1971, in Saginaw, Michigan, and was raised in Richland, Washington.
Charlie was the beloved husband of Erin Hare and the proud father of Kiersten Symons, Kathryn Symons, and stepson Zach Hare. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Symons; his son, Chandler Symons; his sister, Amy Beaver; his nephew, Joey Beaver; and his stepbrother, Jason Nicholson.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Nicholson; stepfather, Max Nicholson; sister, Nicol Ramsey; and many stepsiblings, including Dawn (Scott) Schurman, Dana Watts, and Kurt Nicholson. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Charlie.
Charlie built an incredible career with Alsco Uniform Company, where he began as a route driver and worked his way up to district manager, most recently serving as service manager. His hard work, dedication, and leadership earned him the respect and admiration of everyone he worked with.
Outside of work, Charlie was full of life and passion. He loved riding his motorcycles, spending time with his family, coaching baseball and football, and anything involving sports-especially football. A former professional powerlifter, he still holds two IPA records-a testament to his drive and determination.
Charlie had an unmatched sense of humor and a gift for making everyone feel included. His laughter was contagious, and his “no-filter” personality was something everyone came to love about him. He spent much of his life helping others, whether through charity rides, fundraisers, or simply being there for those in need.
He was deeply passionate about mental health and suicide awareness, founding the Iron Blood Motorcycle Club to raise funds and spread awareness for local Tri-Cities suicide prevention organizations. His compassion and commitment to helping others will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Charlie will be remembered as the best dad, brother, uncle, a loyal friend, and a man with a heart of gold who left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met.
A viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Sunset Event Center. A graveside service and burial will follow at 2:45 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery.
rip Charlie, may your memory bring smiles to those who remember you.
Rest in Peace Charlie.
You will be Missed.
Charlie will be deeply missed by a lot of people. The simple thing to say is he had kind heart and good soul.
Charlie was a giant among men. I’m saddened by his sudden passing. He will be missed by those left behind. My only hope is that his family can relish in the fact he has been accepted by Jesus in heaven and he is looking over them. He will meet you all again. Miss you big man.
I’m so sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. At Hanford High School I knew him to be a sweet, kind young man, friendly to everyone. It is good to see he remained that person throughout his life. You will miss him every day.
Wow I’m still thinking this isn’t true. Since the day I met you we talked trash to each other about our motorcycles. I am truly blessed to have met you even if you rode an Indian you was always ready to help anyone and be there for everyone…. Ride high up there Brother you will be missed…
You son of a biscuit eater leaving me here with G. Who’s going to be our third now on our FaceTime calls. You were supposed to grow old . We had so many rides to still go on. So many places to go see. I’m never going to forgive you for leaving me here with G. This doesn’t even seem real. I’m waiting for you to pop out of corner and say surprise I got you. You’re my best friend. I can’t imagine this world with you in it. There so much left undone for us to do together. It’s not going to ever be the same.

Will always cherish and value our conversations dear mentor, friend & co-worker may you always be celebrated.
My sincere condolences to your family. I went to school with Charlie and have found memories of him. May he rest in peace.
Rest in peace Charlie.
It still seems surreal that you’re gone. I take comfort knowing that you’re celebrating in the arms of Jesus and riding the highways of heaven. I will forever be thankful to have known you. I’ll always cherish our long talks about life, death, God, and everything in between. You had a gift for making people laugh and lifting their spirits—always finding a way to bring joy to those around you and being there for anyone in need. Your infectious laughter and kind heart will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, my friend. Until we meet again.
I’m so glad I got to be a part of your life and call you a friend, you will be missed by many.
Rest in peace my friend 💙
May God’s eternal peace be with you.
