Charlotte C. Watt, age 88, passed away on November 28, 2025, in Seattle, WA. Born in Toppenish, WA, on June 19, 1937, Charlotte graduated as valedictorian from Toppenish High School. She dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love and the sweet aroma of baked goods. Charlotte was a longtime member of the Richland Baptist Church, where she participated in various community activities. She enjoyed her trips to the Oregon Coast, reading novels, completing dot-to-dot puzzles, doing word searches, and baking endless supplies of cookies, cakes and pies.
Charlotte was the beloved mother to Michael Watt, James Watt, and Laura Firestone. She was also a cherished grandmother to Natasha Lee (Daniel), Katie Spivey (Larrok), Seth Firestone (Nichole), Sarah Andreason (Jachob), Joeseph Watt (Penny), Cody Watt, and Hannah Watt. After the passing of Elizabeth (Charlotte’s beloved daughter and the mother of Cody and Hanna) Charlotte opened her heart and her home, lovingly stepping into the role of raising her grandchildren. Her legacy extends to her 13 great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, George Watt, her daughter, Elizabeth Watt, and her son-in-law, Daniel Firestone.
Charlotte’s family and her love for baking were the essence of her being. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished recipes that will continue to bring comfort and joy to her family and friends.
