Aaron Blevins
Aaron Glenn Blevins was born on April 15, 1972, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in Pasco, Washington. His parents are Pamela E. (Harper) Blevins of Pasco, WA; and David G. Blevins of Monarch, MT. Aaron passed away in his home on December 18, 2025.
Aaron lived in Pasco until age 3, Pullman and Kennewick for a year each, then beginning in first grade he lived on Whidbey Island, where he attended elementary and junior high schools in Coupeville and Oak Harbor, WA. He moved back to Richland, where he attended Hanford High School, graduating in 1990. He then attended Columbia Basin College where he studied carpentry and auto mechanics. He worked several years as a house framer, and then decided to attend a school in Florida to train in Harley Davidson motorcycle mechanics. After finishing there, he spent a year in Cleveland, Ohio, where he again worked as a house framer. He worked as a motorcycle mechanic in the Marysville area for a short time. Aaron then returned to the Tri-Cities area to work as a small engine mechanic, and helped his grandparents in Eltopia, WA. Later, he became a journeyman low-voltage electrician and worked for Quicksilver, and then Moon Security for a number of years. Eventually, he joined the workforce at Hanford and became a Health Physics Technician where he worked until his death.
Aaron had many interests to include fishing, fly-fishing in particular; kayaking with his Uncle Curtis; and motorcycles. He was also a very accomplished artist and enjoyed drawing in his quiet times. He was recently involved in Trials competitions around the Northwest, which he really enjoyed. Aaron’s constant companion and best buddy in the last few years was his dog, Sturgill.
Aaron gave his life to the Lord for the first time at the age of four in 1976 in Pullman, WA, and attended the First Reformed Church of Oak Harbor as a child. He returned to faith in God in recent years. He wholeheartedly loved God and was seeking to grow in faith and live out of God’s love for him. He was nurtured in his renewed faith by coworkers in the West Area of Hanford, who invited him to church at Hungry Generation, where he became actively involved. These relationships and his faith in God greatly impacted and changed his whole life. We are so grateful.
Aaron was part of a rather large family grouping, and his family was important to him. He had taken in two sisters as his daughters, Kaylee and Aly, whom he loved as his own, and they presented him with eight grandchildren (and another on the way), all of whom he adored and loved spending time with. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Harper Blevins; father, David Blevins (Judy); sister, Kelly Blevins Westlund of Auburn, WA; sister, Barbara Wolven of Marion, MT ; step-brother, James Ewing (April) of Kennewick, WA; and step-sister, Dawn Ewing Messina (Tony) of Roswell, GA; nephews: Nathan Westlund (Rebecca) of Spokane, WA; Kyle Westlund of Weedsport, NY; Alex Messina of Roswell, GA; and nieces: Kira Westlund of Spokane, WA, and Gabrielle Messina of Roswell, GA.
Aaron was a passionate man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May he rest in God’s peace.
A memorial service will be held in the spring, date yet to be decided. A private interment service will be held at the Eltopia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your favorite charity in Aaron’s memory.
I worked with Aaron for a number of years at Moon Security. Aaron was a complex individual throughout his time but I learned a lot from him. I was so happy to hear he rediscovered his faith and turned his life over to God in recent years. I prayed he passed in peace and one day I will see him and rejoice with him in Heaven. Rest in peace Aaron! See you again one day.
The news of aaron’s passing has been devastating
i met Aaron a handful of years ago and we quickly became very close friends. We enjoyed motorcycles together and exploring abandoned properties. He was the most loyal of friends. And I’m so thankful I got to know him And enjoy his friendship.
Kelly, and family,
I continue to pray for your all as you mourn the loss of Aaron. What a beautiful and loving tribute this obituary is to his life! May the love of Jesus enfold you today and in the time to come.
