Justin Allington

As Justin’s family, we are saddened to let everyone know of Justin’s passing. We wanted to share his obituary, express our grief, and share memories.
Justin Lee Allington was unexpectedly taken from us on December 19, 2025. Justin will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his unwavering loyalty to those closest to him, and the countless friendships he built throughout his life. To know Justin was to know someone who valued connection and love for his family and friends.
Justin is survived by his mother and father; his brother; his three children; 1 grandson; 1 grandson on the way; his nephews and niece; his longtime best girl Liana; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, aunts, and uncles who we trust welcomed him home.
Justin’s memory will live on through his stories. A masterful storyteller—often at his own expense—Justin could spin a yarn so funny that people would lose their breath laughing. He never met a stranger he wouldn’t stop to share a story with, often walking away with a new friend.
We imagine that even in his final moments, when death arrived uninvited, Justin would have shared one last funny story—a story good enough to make even death crack a grin before escorting him to the local hangout to share a few more laughs.
When Justin wasn’t entertaining, he took pride in hard work, helping keep the roads of Benton County safe year-round. He had a broad work background and could do or fix about anything. He loved to tinker in the garage, build models, and celebrate the 4th of July with the coolest fireworks.
He loved his family and friends deeply, and somehow, between his stories, he found time to smoke, barbecue, and cook some of the best food in the Tri-Cities. He always made sure the kids had special treats or games when they visited.
He loved the outdoors—especially when it involved fishing or hunting—and he loved watching sports, particularly when it gave him an excuse to bring everyone together to eat well, laugh loudly, and enjoy one another’s company.
Justin was a lifelong Seahawks fan. He often joked that both he and the Hawks were born in 1976, so it was meant to be. Our family even asked that the death certificate list “Seahawks Stress Syndrome” as an official cause of death. The Thursday night game against the Rams was nearly too much for Hawks fans—though, fittingly, the Hawks won the last game he watched.
We are heartbroken. With Justin’s passing, we lost laughter, good food, unforgettable stories, and a genuinely good man. His absence leaves a silence where joy once lived, but his spirit will always be felt wherever stories are told, food is shared, and friends gather like family.
In lieu of flowers or donations we ask that you share “Justin Stories” with us to celebrate a life well lived.
