Virginia Frances Hughes, born on September 23, 1936, in Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, in Benton City, Washington.

Virginia was a dedicated stay-at-home mother, embodying the spirit of nurturing love and care for her family. She raised five daughters: Vickie Hall, Sharon Hett, and Donna Burleson. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Ladonna Woosley, Shiela Barnes, Randy Hughes, Bob Dunn, Bobi Woosley, Bryan South, Justin Jarrell, and Brad Jarrell. Virginia also cherished her great-grandchildren, Kendra Barnes, Joshua Barnes, Chris Dunn, Ashley Dunn, Jalen Patrick, Micah South, Tyler South, Gracie Hughes, Dallas Hughes, and Witten Hughes, as well as her step-granddaughter Alison Roberts and great-grandsons Conner Jarrell and Ryker Jarrell, and great-granddaughter Violet Dunn.

Virginia will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City,Washington Wednesday 12/17/25 at 1pm. Family and friends will gather to honor her life and legacy in a ceremony celebrating the love she shared and the memories created throughout her years.
