Barbara Lee Lilienthal
Barbara Lee Lilienthal, 68, passed away peacefully at her home in Pasco, Washington, on January 21, 2026. Surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on October 17, 1957, in Othello, Washington to Fran and Ross Weible, Barb’s life was defined by adventure and a tireless spirit from the very beginning. Her childhood was filled with the magic of flying with her father, riding horses to the cemetery for family picnics, and the hard, honest work of being picked up from morning kindergarten to help harvest beets.
During her school years, Barb was a natural leader and athlete, playing basketball and softball in junior high and cheering on her team as a high school cheerleader. She had a lifelong love of learning, particularly in history, home economics, and typing-skills that, would serve her well throughout her life.
Barb’s professional journey was a testament to her intelligence and adaptability. After attending CBC for nursing, she shifted her focus to business and eventually found her true professional calling as a Dental Assistant. For many years, she worked alongside Dr. Brad Brown, becoming a highly skilled dental assistant in Endodontics. She was known for her eagle eye, often identifying cracked or split teeth before the doctor even entered the room. Her boss often remarked that she could pretty much do everything, a sentiment echoed by everyone who knew her.
Despite her professional success, Barb’s heart belonged to her family. She took immense pride in being the best wife she could be to her husband Ray, and in her role as a mother to her son Troy. Her greatest joy in recent years was becoming a YaYa to her grandson Cooper. Barb was a great aunt, never missing a single ball game, surgery, project or life event. She was always there cheering you on in whatever venture.
Barb was a woman of many talents-a gifted quilter, a seamstress, a host of legendary cookie parties, and a great swimmer. Above all, she was described as the best life assistant to anyone she met, she absolutely loved helping people. Always ready to lend a hand, share a skill, or offer support to those in need.
She is Survived by: Her devoted husband Ray, Her son Troy, Her daughter-in law Lexi; her grandson Cooper, her sister Kathy Brown, and her sister Brenda Hauber.
She was Preceded in death by: Her parents, Fran and Ross Weible, Her brother Bernie Weible, and her sister Laura Michel.

I am remembering a day when Laura,Barbara and I went to. a large building and spent the day looking at homemade crafts, quilts, foods, etc. We talked, laughed and ate delicious food for several hours. They were such loving, compassionate, happy, and fun cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, Kathy, and our family today.
Sending my love.
I am remembering a special day with Barbara and Laura when we went to a large building with crafts and food. We spent several hours looking, laughing. enjoying good food, and just being cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with Brenda, Kathy, and our family.
The first time I saw Barbara on a day I thought was coolest in my life. Walking out Kathy’s bedroom door after the first time I saw American Bandstand at age 13, I was startled by glinting eyes and a big smile about chest high sliding along the wall. I jumped and Kathy said “oh that’s ‘Boo-Boo’”. Like a Cheshire cat, shining eyes and a funny quirky smile seemed to hover outside the door whenever I got to visit my new friend Kathy. I almost never saw Boo-Boo without a smile. The last time I saw Barbara we walked in the sun along the new Waterfront park after having gone down hundreds of stairs from Pike market. When it was time to go up all the way to catch a Link train, we were both celebrating that I remembered an elevator had been built nearby. As the doors opened, I backed up fast, peering into a black unlighted cave with two large men in the back. But Barbara was inside before I could stop her with more of my advice about big-City-safety. By the time we reached the Market level, Barbara was finding all about the hobbies of the men who we now knew were from Minnesota visiting for work. Barbara and I went into a building and she was chatting with a receptionist about her family, with a lady in line about her shirt. Always interested, she was so generous with her time to each person, a true gift to us all. She was a friend to everyone around her. She was special that way.
While working with Ray over the years, he shared may funny stories, events and just life in general about his family. I did not know Barb but Ray talked about her often enough that I felt like I did. Ray adored Barb.
She was beautiful, talented and sharp. She could do anything she put her mind to. Barb was an incredible wife and mom. She had a huge heart and would help anyone in need. Much like her husband. Two peas in a pod.
Barb will always be cherished and remembered.
Barb was so special to work with, or have a gathering, or fun party with. I had moved to Kennewick WA and Barb took me under her wing. I was only 26 when I knew her well. I was a lucky new mom to receive one of her beautiful baby quilts for my new baby. Barb helped me decorate the nursery and she sewed up a storm for it.
We wrote some over the years I called her up 40 years later and we caught up quickly. I will remember all those special memories all my life. Like so many I loved Barb❤️
I worked with Barb’s husband and only met her a few times but those moments I will always cherish. She was a joy to be around and made the party fun. Her taste in men was impeccable because Ray is one of the finest humans I’ve ever met. She will be missed by many. My only hope is her knowing how she touched people’s life even if it was only a short time in meeting her.
