Bernice Roberts
Bernice “Bobbie” Roberts(neé Valdez) was born on January 31, 1938 and went to heaven on January 10, 2026. She was born in Hiawatha, Utah to Baldamar and Juanita Valdez and was the third oldest of seven children. She attended and graduated from Columbia High School(renamed Richland High School). She married twice, first to Richard J. Mohl and they resided in Richland and her second marriage was to Robert L. Roberts and they resided in Kennewick. She briefly worked at Fred Myers as a waitress in their restaurant but for the most part she was a stay at home mom raising her six sons. She loved to fish and she was a big fan of the Tri-City Americans hockey team, being a season ticket holder for 15+ years and she was also a big fan and attended games of both the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners. She is preceded in death by both husbands. Brothers Joe Valdez and John Valdez. Son Darrell D. Mohl and grandson Michael L. Mohl. She is survived by sons Gary L. Mohl, Ricky L. Mohl, Corby L. Mohl, Jeff W. Mohl and Steven T. Roberts. Brothers George Valdez and Ken Valdez. Sisters Sophie Valdez and Linda Noel as well as many family members including nephews and nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
We will always remember your kindness and gentle spirit. We are so grateful for the memories we shared and the love you gave so freely. Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing your love will stay with us forever. Say hello to all our family and especially our Dad!
