Janice Diane Schwab

Janice Diane Schwab was born on January 8, 1941, in Wallace, Idaho. At a very young age, her family relocated to Spokane, Washington, where she attended Rogers High School. She went on to further her education at Washington State University, pursuing a career in teaching. It was at WSU that she met her late husband, Michael Robert Schwab.

Janice and Michael were married on November 23, 1962, at the Lutheran Church in Spokane that Janice attended while growing up. They later made the Tri-Cities their home. After several years of teaching, Janice chose to stay home to raise their two children. She later entered the field of data entry, beginning a long and successful career at Battelle, where she retired as a computer scientist.

In her younger years, Janice was active in the League of Women Voters. Above all, she treasured time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
