Jon E. Springer passed away January 24, 2026 at Hospice House in Kennewick, Washington. He was born in Tacoma, Washington October 30, 1953. Jon has lived in West Richland, Washington for 26 years and loved Eastern Washington. He retired from Benton County Mosquito Control.

Jon is survived by his wife Anne Springer, daughter Julia Twiggs (Matt), stepson Daniel Murdock (Wendy), daughter in-law Crystal Funkhauser, and sister Lori Powell and brothers Charles Springer and James Springer (Kim), and granddaughters Johana, Lanie and Magnolia. Proceeded in death by parents Edward and Jean Springer and son Andrew Springer.

Jon enjoyed dirt biking, camping, mechanics and in younger years mountain climbing. He received his Eagle Scout award in 1968.
