This is Dale Shirley. I live on Mercer Island. I am in good health. I am married to my wife of 54 years, Sheila. We have two delightful children, Kevin and Karla. Love to hear from anyone interested in our life.
We are so sorry to read about Steve as he was such a friend when anyone needed it. We were always impressed by his ability to work so hard, even tho, he was in pain. He has certainly been blessed by such fine parents and an outstaning family. God is good to those kind, you know.
Love to all the family. Broomells.

Evan, Dyan & Connor, and family,
You are all in my prayers during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss.
I was overwhelmed with sadness, to read of Steve’s untimely death in the newspaper. He was a wonderful person and admired by many. My deepest sympathy is with all of you at this time. I do not have updated addresses for Ev and Polly or Michelle so I do not know where to direct my correspondence or phone calls. Please let me know how to get in touch with you. Steve was blessed to be part of a family such as yours, and all of you were equally blessed to have Steve as Father, Husband, and Son. With thoughts of sympathy and love,
Carol
Again, my deepest sympathies are with you, Michele, and all of the family. Steve devoted so much energy, dedication and love to everything he did. He will be sorely missed by all!
Love to all.

Dear Ev,Polly,Michele,and family,
Betty and I were so sorry to hear aoubt Steve’s death. Life is such a precious gift and yet it now seems so fragile. I guess it is only through death that we, who are still on the journey, can understand and appreciate what an incredible gift life is to all of us.
Betty and I are so thankful that we have had a chance to know Steve and the entire Woodward family. Please know that our prayers are with you and we will see you again.
Love, Tom and Betty Hill
