 WEN-SHAN TANG, 90, OF RICHLAND, WASHINGTON, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY DURING SLEEP AT THE LIFE CARE CENTER OF RICHLAND SURROUNDED BY TWO SONS, A DAUGHTER, AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ON MAY 24, 2001.
 SHE WAS BORN IN KIANG-SU PROVINCE, CHINA AND HAD RESIDED IN RICHLAND SINCE 1983. MRS. TANG WAS EDUCATED IN CHINA AND WORKED AS A SCHOOL TEACHER IN TAIWAN.
 SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER BELOVED HUSBAND, HUNG-CHING TANG, A BROTHER, A SISTER, AND A 5-YEAR-OLD DARLING DAUGHTER, MINNA TANG. SHE IS SURVIVED BY THREE SONS, IGNATIUS TANG OF LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK, CHEN-KUO TANG OF KENNEWICK,

WASHINGTON, AND SOLOMON TANG OF BRIDGEWATER, NEW JERSEY; FIVE DAUGHTERS, ANGELA CHOW, AND SHIRLEY YU OF POTOMAC, MARYLAND, ANNA CHEN OF RICHLAND, WASHINGTON, NING-HUA HOU, AND SHIAW-XIA SHIH OF BEJING, CHINA; SEVENTEEN GRANDCHILDREN AND SIX GREAT -GRANDCHILDREN. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY TWO NEPHEWS AND FOUR NIECES. ROSARY WILL BE HELD AT ROCKY POINT FUNERAL HOME IN LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK. THERE WILL BE A PRIVATE FAMILY BURIAL. AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY, NO MEMORIAL WILL BE ACCEPTED. IN ADDITION, THE FAMILIES OF MRS. TANG WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS THEIR DEEPEST APPRECIATION TO DR. STUART V. FREEMAN, MD FOR HIS CARE OF THEIR PARENTS AND TO MR. AND MRS. THOMAS AND BELDAD BANDER FOR THEIR EFFORT TO BRING THEIR MOTHER TO CHRIST THE KING CATHOLIC CHURCH TO WORSHIP GOD EVERY SUNDAY . THE FAMILIES ALSO WANT TO THANK ALL THOSE FOR THEIR FRIENDSHIP AND KINDNESS MRS. TANG RECEIVED WHILE SHE LIVED AT THE LUTHER SENIOR CENTER AND THE LIFE CARE CENTER OF RICHLAND.
