Florence Susan Ernst George
Florence Susan Ernst George passed away on September 4, 2001. She was born on October 10, 1903 in California, Missouri to John J. and Susan Hill Ernst. She married Harold K. George on September 14, 1931 at Jefferson City, Missouri. They made their home in Fort Morgan, Colorado and Denver, Colorado until Harold was transferred to Richland in 1944 and which has remained her home till now.
Florence worked on the Hanford Project for 19 years. She is a member of the United Church of Christ in California, Missouri and she attended the Free Methodist Church in Richland and the Bethany Presbyterian Church in West Richland.
Her husband of 52 years preceded her in death, as did her son, Harold Lee and daughter-in-law, Joyce George. Survivors are daughter, Marjorie and husband David Joe Wilson of Fair Oaks, California. Grandchildren, Jeanene Wilson, David Lee Wilson and wife Susan, Melinda and husband Jeff Keane, Kevin George and Kip George. Great-grandchildren, Stephanie George, Joel and Adam Wilson, Spencer, Matilda and Olivia Keane. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Einans Funeral Home on Monday September 10, 2001 at 9:00 A.M. Viewing is on Friday September 7, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday September 8, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Sorry this is so late but I just found out your mom died yesterday. I have known
your mom’s for many years. I was sorry to hear that she had passed away. It is so hard to lose a parent. I will remember your mom and dad they were very nice people. My prayers go with you in this time of sorrow. I don’t know if you remember my folks but they were Tom and Alice Morris of Prosser, WA. Karen Morris Moore
