  • A long time ago, an older gentelman told me, “God will never put more on your plate than you can handle.” Over the years I have found this to be true, over & over. Your pain from your loss is really great right now, but it will dim. As you remember their is no pain in Heaven!

    Love always!

  • It is hard to let her go, but she has left a lot of true friends with good memories.

Hazel was there so many time for me as a teenager. She was my “Mother” for the Mothers Tea’s. She sewed a look a like skirt for Gladys and myself. We were so proud of them and wore them to school on the same day.

Years later she was the angel who came to rescue of my family when our car broke down in Medford, OR. It was late at night we had six kids and thirteen dollars between us. Returning home from a trip to see Richard’s Mom and StepDad in CA. I hadn’t seen her in a while, so when I called and asked for help she and Lloyd came to our aid. She loaned us her station wagon and made sure our car was repaired. Then we drove back and traded.

Her was a person with a warm heart willing to share what she had with other less fortunate.

  • Grandma, thank you for the fond memories you gave me…snoring in the camper when you took us to the coast, making protein candy when we came to visit, just to name a few and thank you for your love.

I loved seeing the smile and laughter that McKenzie and Matthew brought to you when we’d come to visit.

It is comforting for us to know that you are now in heaven and can be at peace.

    We love you forever.

  • Grandma you were the only grandma I have because of my dad passing away before i was born. We didn’t really get to know each other because of mom and dad living so far away from you but we did get to see you every other year. I’m so glad that my sister Darlynda got to know you and that Mom got to be with you more after dad retired. Sometimes I do wish that i got to know you better but I do know that you were there for some of your grandkids and they have fond memories of you. But you were my only grandmother so i loved you and i will miss you To my mom I know that your pain is for missing her but now she is in a better place. To my sister Darlynda Thank you so much for what you did for Grandma and Grandpa

    May Grandma rest in peace!!

  • Mom, I will miss you lots. We always enjoyed the visits when we came out from Indiana.

You remember the time I was teasing you when you were frying chicken. I started to leave and then stopped and you poked me in the butt with your meat fork. Then had to pull it out. And you cried when you had to pull it out. Then you threw that fork away because you couldn’t stand it anymore.

    We loved you very much!!

    Love always your son-in-law,

  • Grandma, I will miss you greatly. I told Grandpa now he has all my time and he doesn’t have to share when I come to visit. I told him that I will probably go next door just out of habit. I will miss not going and painting your nails some bright color that would drive Della crazy lol. It was nice to be able to get a little closer with you these past few years. I was always the girl with the cold hands. I love you lots!!

    To Grandpa, Della & Mom,

I know you will miss her lots. We all will. We love all of you very much!!

  • Grandma,

I wish I could of seen you more often. Thank you for teaching me how to play pinochle.

My best memory is when we went out to Washington state, when you lived in Patterson. We had cold meatloaf sandwiches and we went out in the yard and we were laying on a blanket with you and grandpa. We ended up having a grass fight with the both of you.

Love you lots and I wish things would have been different for us. Being around to share each others lives more often.
