Frank William Woodfield, 83, of Richland, Washington passed away on February 8, 2002 in Spokane, Washington.

He was born March 1, 1918 in Astoria, Oregon and resided in the Tri-Cities area since 1947. Frank was employed at Hanford as a chemical engineer,earning his Bachelor of Science Degree from Oregon State University and his Masters Degree from Columbia University.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Woodfield, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Lyle Norwood, daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Samuel Latendresse, brother Charles Woodfield and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his son William George Woodfield.

At the families request no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the George Gleeson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Oregon State University, OSU-141 Batcheller Hall, Corvallis, OR 97333-9967,in Memory of Frank Woodfield.
