Lois Katherine Eager
L. Katherine Eager, 87, of Richland, was born to Edgar B. and Florence Graison Miller on September 7, 1914, in Seattle, WA and died Sunday, February 17, 2002, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughters Fran Eager of Richland, WA and Judy Doty of Modesto, CA; brothers, David Mary Beth Miller of Federal Way, WA and Lawrence Miller of Seattle, WA; sister, Winnie Gene Meyers of Seattle, WA; and grandchildren, LeeAnn J. Harvey and Katherine J. Eager.
Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Eager.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2002, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in Katherines memory to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Ave., Kennewick, WA 99336.
My husband and I lived next door to Kay for seven years. We enjoyed being Kay’s friend and neighbor. She was a wonderful lady who loved watching our three dogs play in the backyard out her window. She knew so much about plants and the people who lived in the area. We will cherish our memories of talking to her over our lawn hedge, listening to her stories and hearing her laugh. We will miss her and feel lucky to have known her.We were shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Our condolences to her family.
