Russell Jewell Skelly

Russell Jewell Skelly, 80, of Richland, Washington passed away on February 15, 2002 at Kadlec Medical Center. He was born on May 7, 1921 at Cohassett, Minnesota and has resided in the Tri-Cities area for 57 years.

Russell served with the Army Corp of Engineers as a “Railsplitter”, he was employed by Rockwell as a tank farm manager until his retirement and was a member of the Richland Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jo Skelly, daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Robert Brown, daughter and son-in-law Ruthie and Doug Thompson, grandchildren Brendon, Heidi, and Allison Sato, Woody, Willie and Wendy Hunter and Cheyenne Brown, brothers, Richard and Tom Skelly and sister Edna Mantele. Dear friends, Dennis and Lori Sato and Ron and Arne Armstrong, also Betty Barnard, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Konkle, and many nieces and nephews.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Norma Skelly, brothers Stanley and Wilbur Skelly.

A Memorial service will be held February 19, 2002 at 3:00 P.M. at the home call Einan’s for details. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 375, Richland, WA 99352.
