Our precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother joined her husband on March 1, 2002 at the age of 74.
Born on March 15, 1927 in Eustace, Texas, the oldest of 6 children. After her marriage in April of 1946, Evelyn and Harold moved to Richland where the made their home for 55 years. Evelyn was a mother and homemaker first. She was active in the Boy Scouts and Camp Fire Girls for many years.
Evelyn was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of 55 years, her parents Fred and Carrie Anthony and 2 brothers. She is survived by one son Michael, wife Carol and children Kim and Michael,of Kennewick, daughter Elaine, husband Butch and children Stephanie, Jenny and Justin of Richland and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday March 6 at 3pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland, WA. Viewing will be Tuesday March 5 from 3-5pm and Wednesday March 6 from 11-1pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Blue Mt. Council, Boy Scouts of America, Camp Fire Association,or American Heart Association.
I can remember when aunt Evenlyn and uncle Harold use to come visit us in Texas with their dog poodle. Uncle Harold loved to walk every morning and I use to join him some. Aunt evelyn loved to collect material and lace to sew stuff for the family. She loved everyone and would help you if she could. i’m so sorry for the loss of her, I will miss her.

Mike and Elaine and families, was so sorry to read of the passing of your mother and also your dad. If you remember, we were nieghbors on Stevens and Mahan when we were kids.
