Sr. Marilyn, I once was told when my mother passed away that I had a “special angel” in heaven to watch over me. The loss of a mother is never easy and your tears will soon turn to smiles as warm memories of days gone by fill your heart.
Dear Marilyn,
You and your family are in my prayers during this time of grif at losing your mother. She now celebrates new life in ways we can only imangine. Know my love and prayers are with you.
Dear Charette Family:
Your Mom was a blessing and a treasure.
May the Lord keep you and bless you in the days and weeks to come.
My heart goes out to all of you. May God hold you close and comfort you as you grieve your dear mother.
Dear Marilyn and Family:
You have been in my special prayers as your mother has now joined the Risen Lord. It was a great privilege to be able to meet each of you when your mother was in the Hospital in Richland a few weeks ago. The great love and care that she shared with each of you came through as I met you. May the many wonderful stories that you share about your Mother during these days bring her spirit to life once again. She is in my prayers. I am sorry that I am unable to be with you for the Liturgy, but I will pray for all of you at Blessed Emilie Gamelin’s tomb during the ceremonies in Montreal.

To all the Charettes:
I am Jim and Mabel Walsh’s daughter, Kellie. We lived across the street from you on Hunt Point. Although I make my home now in Southern California, home will ALWAYS be on Hunt Point. I have cherished memories of the wonderful neighbors who encircled it. I find it so special that your mom was still residing at your home with the incredible view of the Columbia. My sister, Jeannie and our families live in the same town — we moved our mom down here in 1989. She is 86, lives on her own unassisted, in good health, and loves to play with my two girls. I swear it has added 10+ years to her life. Peace be with you all, my thoughts are with you.
Kellie Walsh Patterson
P.S. Someday, I think there should be a Hunt Point reunion — a picnic on he circle or something …
Eddie, I was sorry to hear of your mom’ s death this last week. Our folks were the same age and were native New Yorkers..Mine were from Albany. I still connect with Donna Rae. Maybe we will hit one of those Bomber reunions??? Best regards….Dorothy
Richard, I was sorry to hear about your Mom. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We sure had a great place to grow up in Richland. I felt like we led the life of Tom Sawyer. Jim Hodgson
Margaret I don’t know if you will remember me Nikki Wheeler is my mom. I was saddened to hear about you mother she was such a sweet person Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
My earliest memory of my Aunt Mary was in 1944. My mother was in the hospital to deliver my brother, Alfred, and Aunt Mary made Eddie and me cream cheese and grape jelly sandwiches for lunch. Whenever I make one, I think of her and my introduction to a lifelong favorite. I was fortunate to spend an evening with her in 1989 when she invited me to dinner while I was working in the area. She was a special lady!
My heart and prayers are with you as you walk with our Mother of Sorrows.
Love,
JoAnn

Marilyn, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I know you will miss her greatly, but someday your memories will surpass the sorrow.
Margie,
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Be assured of my prayerful sympathy and support. May she rest in peace and may all of you in the family find consolation in your memories, your love and your faith that you will meet again.
Our sincerest condolences the Charette family. I will always remember Mrs. Charette as I came to the back door and she welcoming me to her home standing on the top step of the kitchen. It had to be a special treat growing up in the 50’s & 60’s when moms could stay at home and raise their family.

Dear Cathy and family,
I have always considered the Charettes as my extended family. You could always find us at your place or mine. We have laughed, cried, dreamed and shared secrets together. Ed and Mary were a part of my heart. I am sorry I could not be with you in your time of sorry but my love is with you and the rest of my extended family.
Marilyn,
I was sorry to read about your mother, who was the supermom of the neighborhood. Best wishes.
