In Memory of----------

DENNIS KEN SATO July 26, 1946-Jun1, 2002 Benton City, WA

Dennis age 55 was born in Koloa, Kauai, HI to Kinji and Dorothy Sato. He was an avid fisherman, snow skier, hunter, and most importantly, a good person. A loving husband and father, Dennis valued his family and all his friends as his extended family. All will agree that he never turned his back on friends and was first in line to provide help and support.

Fishing and CBC first drew Dennis to the area. Of his 33 years in the Tri-City area, he spent 19 at the 222-S Labs. Prior to his responsibilities as a Senior Chemical Technologist, Dennis worked as a mason here in the area and on Kauai. With his partner, Junior Kelley, their legacy to the area was the completion of the top of the dome of Plant No. 4.

He is survived by his wife, Lori A. Sato, son and daughter-in-law Brendon and Heidi, daughter Allison, mother Dorothy, brother and sister-in-law Lynn and Nancy and family, sister and brother-in-law Karen and Ken and family, Lori’s family Don and Edwina Williams, Lin and Karen, Mark and Brenda and family and his many special friends in the Tri City: Jo Skelly; Ron, Arne, Tim and Mike Armstrong; Jay Draper and family; Bill Conn; Kevin Leonard; and Sasha Smith.

His friends from Hawaii include: Allan and Lori Ozaki and family, Earl and Rose Ozaki and family, Evy Ozaki and family, Murashi Sukisaki and family, Craig Tokuda, Leo Yamakawa, Edwin Tampos and family, Onie Rendall and family, David Patubo and family, Moku Kau and family, Judy Togiai and family,

He was preceded in death by his father, Kinji; friend, Russell Skelly; friend, Ricky Ozaki and son Corey Ozaki.
