  • Dear Janice, Joe and all,

    I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your mother. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now. You know, some of my very best memories of growing up in Benton City include hours and hours at your house and all the fun we had back then. Your Mom was at the center of it. She always seemed to have so much patience with all of us and such a lot of kindness. She was certainly blessed with a good sense of humour! I particlarly loved being around near Christmas when your Mom made the only truly edible fruitcakes in the world and they were just wonderful. She made us all feel so welcome then and in these later years, I was fortunate to have a few nice visits with her that included that same warm welcoming smile. What a lovely lady!

    Please call or write and let me know how you’re doing. My heart goes out to you.

    Blessings,

    Elaine, Michael and Rob

  • To my family. I’m so incredibly saddened that my GaGa is gone. I loved her so much. She was truly the matriarch of this family and will be greatly missed. I was not fortunate enough to have grown up with her on a year-round basis, but she was always there for me, no matter what. I wish that I could be there with you all to cry and to laugh a little too. GaGa had a wicked sense of humor and I think she would have appreciated a little laughter right now. God bless all of you. I’ve never felt so far away. I miss you all and am thinking of you. I love you all. Lori

  • Pete, Jerry, JoAnne, Janice and Joe;

    Marsha and I are very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Judy called us as soon as she heard. Marsha and I have been remenising and she fondly recalls the time she roomed with your mom in 1972. Ethel was a very good friend to her. She especially appreciated the fine meals she cooked and the ready ear. Ethel was like a second mom to me. I remeber the trips we used to take to Benton City and the great meals followed by home made ice cream.

    You are all in our prayers and we are going to miss Ethel.

    God Bless you and keep you in His arms.

    Love,

    Monty and Marsha
