  • Dear Roy and Nancy,

I send my deepest and heartfelt sympathy to your family. I am a member of West Side Church and your mother was a faithful member and Sunday school teacher for years. Whenever I hear her name, I think of her ministry to 2-year-old children. She taught my son, who is now 19 years old and I know she touched his 2-year-old heart. What a wonderful servant she was and I know she is in the presence of Jesus. My prayers are with your family and I pray that God will bless you with His peace, strength, and comfort during this time and that He will assure you that Jo is with Him–safe in His arms.

    God Bless.

  • Jo Ballard family,

I was sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Jo from my days at Battelle. I used the library extensively and Jo was always great at fulfilling my requests. We had a nice time chatting with each other during periodic phone calls.

I shall treasure the sound of her laugh. She was a fine gal and touched the lives of many people she met throughout her live.
