Ellen was a wonderful lady who cared deeply for others. She was tremendously helpful to my mother over the past few years Jean Miller – passed away 4/29/02. But, I think more than anything, my Mom simply considered Ellen to be one of her very best friends. She loved and respected Ellen, and took special interest in Ellen’s granddaughter, who I truly believe was the light of Ellen’s life. We three daughters of Jean Miller Margaret Hyland, Rhonda Williams, and Stacy Wallace send our deepest sympathies to Ellen’s family. We pray for your peace, and offer you these words of love: On Joy and Sorrow from “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran – When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth, you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Ellen was a special friend. She was a very caring person.
She came & helped me when I needed someone to help with my cats. I will miss her.
Ellen was a special friend. I enjoyed working with her at Meals on Wheels. I will miss her.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Milner family today. Ellen was a wonderful person, who gave far more then she ever received. She will be missed. Linda Parker, Support Specialist, Richland Parks and Rec and a lucky friend of Ellen.
Ellen was a very kind person. She took care of our dogs when we went out of town and they loved her. She will be missed.
We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to Ellen’s family. We know you must miss her very much. We will always remember Ellen for her kind and loving assistance when our father, grandfather really needed it. His name is Eldon Heim and I know he will really miss Ellen, his “ice cream friend and helper”. He also thought she was the best cook ever when she worked at the Senior Center. There is no way we could ever express how much Ellen’s help meant to us when Grandpa came out of the hospital last August after hip surgery. She was right there with him, helping him in every way and doing it out of the kindness of her heart. Ellen was a special person and we will be forever grateful to her. She will be missed!
Sincerely,
Jan, Erika and Angela
