Patricia Ione Hovley 8/6/28 – 8/24/02 Patricia Hovley, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, with a great faith in Christ and love of Mary passed away on Saturday, August 24th.

Patricia Ione Havens was born to Milton Havens & Ola Thomas on August 6, 1928. Pat was raised in Simi Valley, CA, where she met Don Hovley, the love of her life. Her sense of adventure inspired her to learn how to fly a tail-dragger airplane which later led to her pursuit of aeronautical engineering. Her passion for sports, music and her faith has been passed on to her children and grandchildren. Pat was a long-standing member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and of the Ladies Guild in Pasco.

Pat expressed her love and faith daily for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Don and 13 children: Donna, Ellie, Vince, Steve, Sue, Cam, George, Mark, Ann, Art, Ben, Julie and Pete; 32 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and is preceded in death by her mother and father. Pat Hovley, wife, mother, friend, passed away Saturday evening at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland.

A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Pasco.

  • Serving the cup to at Mass a drop spilt on my hand. Mrs Hovely wiped the spot and touched her finger to her lips. She knew well the real presence. That Jesus comes and visits us during the Mass, our little heaven on earth. My sincere sympathy Don and Family.
