Lynette Engel was born on January 24, 1942 in Box Butte County, NE to her parents Charles and Ruth Osborn.
She died on Sunday, December 15, 2002 at her home in Richland, WA in the presence of her family, at the age of 60.
Lynette graduated from Hemingford High School in Hemingford, NE in 1959. She married Clyde H. Engel on April 27, 1960 in Hemingford, NE. They relocated to Richland, WA in 1963.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
Lynette is survived by her sons: Ted Engel and wife Sherri of Richland, WA and Chris Engel and wife Shawnell of Spokane, WA; Grandsons, Jason, Justin, Clayton and Aaron; Sisters, Eleanor Baker of Rapid City, SD, Jean and Jerry Teansky of Olathe, CO, Sheron and Veryl Dannar of Hemingford, NE; Brothers, CJ and Denise Osborn of Pullman, MI, Gail and Mariannette Osborn of Puyallup, WA and Special Friends Tom and Sharon Barton of Richland, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice or Knights of Columbus.
At Lynette's request there will not be a memorial service, however there will be a celebration of her life on Saturday, December 21st from 1 -3pm at her residence
Our deepest sympathy are with you in your loss.We have many fond memories of Lynette during our many trips, Hunting, Fishing, Snowmobiling and Etc. We will miss our good friend.
