L. Edward Thurman
L. Edward Thurman, 76, of Benton City, passed away on February 23, 2003. He was born to Arthur and Anna Thurman on August 24, 1926 in Ritzville, WA.
He had worked for Westinghouse as a Health Physicist and lived here in the Tri-City area since 1948. He was an active member of Christ The King Catholic Church and also the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degree.
L. Edward is survived by his wife Lucille, son Michael of Kennewick, WA; son Patrick of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Theresa Setterberg of Anoka, MN; daughter Julie Hughes of Port Orchard, WA; son Larry of Benton City, WA; daughter Cynthia of Benton City, WA.
He is preceded in death by his son Timothy; parents Arthur and Anna and brother LeRoy Thurman.
A Rosary with vistitation will be held on Friday February 28th, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. at Einans Funeral Home in Richland. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 1st, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ The King Catholic Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Donations may be made to Neurological Center Parkinsons Support Group, P.O. Box 1238 Richland, WA 99352, or a charity of ones choice.
