All our prayers and thoughts are with you. I remember our childhood barbeques in your backyard. I love your dad. JoAnn.
I read this morning of Rich’s passing. I thought of our childhood, those BBQ’s on those summer evenings. I can hear vividly, Betty’s laugh and see Rich’s smile. Your mom and dad will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish we could turn back the hands of time, just one more time. Love to you all.

When I remember my Grandpa, I think of all the special times we spent together when I was a child. I remember loving to eat all of the homemade Christmas candy that Grandpa would make, my favorite was always the white-chocolate covered pretzels. The summers at the pool near my Grandparents house, swimming with my cousins. Grandpa taking all of the cousins bowling. The memories of us on Fathers day; golfing at Sham-na-Pum Golf Course in Richland, Grandpa, my dad and me. Grandpa giving me a hug and telling me “boy youre getting big” whenever I would walk in his front door. Those are all such special memories for me.
I have so many good memories of my Grandfather and the love that he shared with everyone in his life. I am so thankful to have shared in Grandpa Carlson’s life, and so proud to be known as his Grandson. I will truly miss my Grandpa…”I love you Grandpa”.
Todd

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your father and grandfather. I send my sincere condolences to all the family.
I was lucky to have had a father-in-law who loved and respected his family so much. We all feel the loss and will always remember his kindness and his smile. Doris
Dad was a quiet man that taught his children by example. He will always live on in my thoughts. He loved Richland, his friends and his family. Over the last few years, he longed to return to St.Paul and to relive those wonderous days of his youth…at last I think he is home, with Mom. Love you Dad.
Gary,
We know how hard it is to lose a parent. We pray that God will give you peace and comfort until you meet with your parents again in heaven.
We love you,
Betty & Larry
Grandpa Rich’s legacy continues in the lives of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We honor his service to his country and to his family.
