Julia S. Eldredge

Julia chose to peacefully leave this world and join the rest of her family on March 21. She was born in Alberta, Canada on September 7, 1912 and was a young 90. Julie spent most of her young life in Farmington, Utah, where she met the man of her dreams Del Eldredge. They were married August 14, 1933 and shared their love, laughter and tears for 57 years before he passed away.

In 1944 they moved to Richland when Dad got a job out on ''The Project'' and have lived in the same house for 59 years. Mom started working at the Richland Bowling Alley, then Atomic Lanes when it was built, and was very involved in the Bowling community as League coordinator; instructor and officer in the Richland Bowling Association. She loved teaching people to bowl and was instrumental in setting up the Jr. Bowling program in Richland. She did love to bowl! !

After both she and Dad retired they did a lot of traveling in ''Becky'', their pickup camper, and really enjoyed fishing and walking together along the beaches.

Those of her family who went before to prepare a place for mom were her husband Del, daughter Sue and son Jerry. She is survived by daughter Jo Miller and husband Glen of Richland; son Ron Eldredge of Rich land; Granddaughter Cindi Homer and husband Arlen of Kennewick and their two boys Devin & Jordan; and Grandson Rocky Miller and wife Tami and their two girls Chelsea and Samura of Dayton.

Viewing will be Sunday March 23 from 1 :00 to 5:00 at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:00 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the people at Peace of Mind Adult Family Home and Guardian Angel for the loving care given to our Mom in the final year of her life. In lieu of flowers please send donations in memory of mom to the Adult Family Home Association, 7206 West 9th Place, Kennewick, WA., 99336 in care of Darlene Burn.
