Everett Ernest Green

Everett Ernest Green, 87, of Richland, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Kadlec Medical Center.  He was born to Ernest E. and Daisy D. Brooks Green on June 25, 1915, in Walla Walla, WA.

Mr. Green moved to Richland in 1943 to work on the Mahattan Project for DuPont then General Electric. In 1955, he started his own business, Everett E. Green Real Estate, at the Westgate Shopping Center in Richland where his wife, Roberta, worked by keeping books and managing the office. He retired in 1990.

He was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army in 1945.

Everett was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church

Everett is survived by his wife of 64 years, Roberta June Green; daughters, Joyce Lynn Green Johnson of Spokane and Joan Lee Harvey of Yakima; 5  grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Closed casket visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Einan’s Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
