Dorothy I. Rand Shults, 88, of Richland, WA died Monday at the Richland Life Care Center. She was born January 20, 1915, in Sutton, NE, to Mattie and Alonzo D. Rand. She lived in the Tri-Cities since 1942 and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Shults, four brothers, two sisters, and two grandsons.

Dorothy is survived by sister Edna Nunn of Geneva, NE; daughters Barbara Moran and JoAnn Shults of Richland, WA, Karen Chase of Olympia, WA; son Duane Shults and wife Patricia of Richland, WA; grandsons Stacy Shults, Stuart Chase of Olympia, WA and Roger L. Hendrickson of Pasco, WA; granddaughters Teresa Moran of Seattle, WA and Shauna Hayles of Richland, WA; great grandsons Evan and Keith Cope, Joshua Hales, Tyler Wilhelm and Garret Hendrickson; and nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Highway 240 and Swift Blvd., Richland, WA, Friday, June 27, 2003 at 11:00 am.

Visitation will be at Einan’s Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
