  • To all of Ethel’s family, my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ethel at Battelle over the past few years. She was a lady of great integrity, and an inspiration.

She loved her children and grandchildren most in life, and it shone on her face when she would talk of them.

I am blessed to have known her.

  • Ethel was the receptionist in the building where I work. She was unfailingly cheerful and hard working. As a vigilant security screener, no one got by her who shouldn’t have. She faithfully carried out many projects for me despite having arthritis in her hands. Her work ethic and attitude were an inspiration to everyone in the building. It was a pleasure to have known Ethel.

  • Ethel was not just a co-worker, she was my friend.

I have so many fond memories of working with her, having little chats, and going to lunch with her on occasion and working with her was such a pleasure.

Ethel was always so friendly to everyone and had such a positive attitude.

She took such pride in her work and did such an awesome job at what she did! Ethel was an inspiration to me. When she retired,I was so happy for her, she deserved it but a part of me was sad, as I wouldn’t be having coffee with her, and I wouldn’t see her wave goodbye to me at the end of the day any longer. She appreciated “anything” you did for her, she was a very beautiful lady inside and on the outside.

Ethel always talked so kindly about her children and grandchildren and how proud she was of all of them. My deepest sympathy to all of the family in your loss.
