Dear Shelia7 family, Know that we love you and have you
in our prayers at this time.
how gratful for the Gospel and it’s teachings hopefully the time of separation will not seen long . May the Lord’s richest blessings be with you at this time . Our love Dick & Jane
Larry was a very special man. He was one of the kindest men I have ever met. I will really miss him.
Sheila and family, I have no words to express my deep sadness at your loss. Just know that dearest Larry and you all will be forever in my heart. I felt very priviledged today to be among the many people who came to celebrate Larry’s life. Your brother Phillip was beyond eloquent, and your dear sons broke my heart. God bless and keep you safe dearest friend.
Sheila and Family,
My deepest sympathies to you during this difficult time. Saying Good-bye to a loved one is one of the hardest things a person will ever do. I pray you find comfort in knowing your separation is only temporary. Larry was a wonderful man, an inspiration to many, and will be greatly missed. Much Love, Diane and Vern
Larry has been such an inspiration to all of us. His courage in dealing with Parkinson’s and all of its problems was truly remarkable. We will all miss him, but we do rejoice that he is beyond pain now.
I had planned to attend his services, but felt poorly that morning. Please accept my sympathy.
The service yesterday was a wonderful tribute to Larry. I have always had a great respect for your family from the time you came to Richland and have appreciated our association through the years. After my return from the Seattle area I developed an admiration for Larry as he battled the challenges of illness with grace and tenacity. I appreciated the time he took to assist me with a college paper on Parkinsons. His wealth of information was amazing and helped me to gain a true appreciation of all that he faced for so many years. Larry will be greatly missed in our ward but his example is a gift for all. Shelia, Cory, Tony, and Darren know that you have the support of friends and that my prayers are with you during this difficulty time. You are all wonderful and I wish for you an inner peace.
Hugs,
Melinda

Thoughts and prayers go to Larry’s family. I worked with Larry a number of years ago at Battelle on the Wind Energy Project. He was very professional and a kind man. I enjoyed working with Larry and knowing him. Also, my mom – Jenny Bixler, has worked with Larry the last few years at the Racquet Club – water aerobics. She liked him a lot. Jim
Larry was a true inspiration to all of us through his years of struggle. We will miss him on our street.
Sister Wendell,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your husband. He was courageous in his fight against his Parkinson’s Disease and it fueled my testimony to see him faitfully execute all of his priesthood responsibilities in spite of his health. I pray that our Heavenly Father will provide blessings of comfort for you and your family during this difficult time.
Larry was a good man who retained the ability to reach out to others. Most people with his health challenges would have turned inward, but not Larry. Watching Larry create a meaningful life for himself was an inspiration. He will be missed by many and I would like to thanks his family for their support which allowed me to know Larry.
I will always value my association with Larry. He was a man of high ethical standards and he was intensely caring and considerate of his friends. He will be greatly missed.
