Roger J. Kennedy

Roger J. Kennedy, 92, of Richland, passed away on November 26, 2003 in Richland. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on February 3, 1911.

He lived in the Tri-City area from September 1945 – November 2003 58 yrs. and worked at the Hanford Project as an electrical dispatcher. During his time here he was a member of the Richland Elks and also the IBEW for 69 years.

Roger is survived by his son Jim Kennedy of Lyons, New York; two daughters Patricia Jack Mallow of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Mary Jane Erlandson of Richland, WA. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marian and grandson Scott Eric Erlandson.

A funeral service will be held on Monday December 1, at 1:00pm at Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland with committal service to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be visitation one hour before the service.

Donations maybe made to the Richland Fire Department’s Medical Services Funds, 1000 George Washington Way, Richland, WA.
