I met your father through myduties as Financial Analyst for Site Services. The operation that was his responsibility was an unusual type of business/not found in usual market place. As a direct result of his detailed explanation of the operation, I was enabled to arrive at full-cost recovery billing rates for the multitude of services performed by what was referred to as “The 2West Laundry”–but, it was MUCH MORE than that. We remained friends over the years, including monthly trips to Roys Smorgy on “old timers day”–until he could no longer go. Bernie was a true gentleman and will be missed by many of us. Goodbye old friend. Bob

I’m so sorry to hear that Bernie passed. I bet he and my dad are talking all about the Laundry in 200 West Area about right now!!!
My Dad and Mom were
Harold and Shirley Ralston.
I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to attend Bernie’s services. Remember all the great times you had with him and your mother. There are some wonderful pictures of Bernie and Harold from the laundry days that are now available to the public. If you like to see them, please return your email address to me and I’ll give you the www. address.
Again, I’m sorry for your loss.

MaryEllen & family,
Sorry about your father’s passing. I remember living in the apartment next to them and how gracious and kind they both were to us. We had many visits with them. I ran into your dad in Richland on several occasions and he always remembered us. I hope the service was nice, I’m sorry I missed giving you our condolences in person. I hope you get this message this late. Know that I was thinking of you all then. I see your children all married. God bless you and your wonderful parents Bernie and Grace.
Sincerely,
Dot Redmann
