Edith A. Barrett

On December 26, 2003, Edith Arvella Burnley-Barrett joined our Lord in heaven. She was preceded in death y her son Jon Burnley, her husband Samuel E. Burnley and her second husband Lawrence Barrett.

Edith was a long time resident of the Tri-Cities. She worked for the City of Richland for 25 years in a variety of positions.

She enjoyed spending time reading her bible, cross-stitching and playing the piano. She traveled extensively through the US and Canada for several years enjoying the sites.

Edith is survived by her sister Lois Whitmore of Lusby, ND; her daughter Lois Hokanson of Vancouver, WA; her son Daniel Burnley of Richland, WA; four grandsons; four granddaughters and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Edith will be missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, P O Box 375 Richland, WA 99352.

Private interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, WA at a later date.
