  • The Richland Rod and Gun Club was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Jim Martin. Jim had been a club member for 23 years and volunteered for many Club projects. He particularly liked to work on the Salmon Booth during the Sidewalk Show. Early on, he recognized the need for trays to carry the salmon from the cookers to the serving area and over the years provided and used three large sturdy plastic trays for this purpose. In later years, after his health failed and he couldn’t work at the booth, he would buy whole salmon fillets for he and his wife to eat at home. Also, for several years he would donate bird seed for Club members to use in bird feeders. Jim and his willingness to volunteer for club projects will be greatly missed.

  • Many fond memories of Jim are in my memory. Jim and Dad doing projects together at our house. Going to school with his children.

Later on in my life, Jim came and changed locks and made keys and helped with our needs in our home.

I always used to see Jim at the grocery store. Seemed to be the meeting place….

Jim will be missed, but I am sure he and Dad are doing projects in heaven together.
