Jerry Lee Duffey, 64, of Richland, WA died Friday, January 2, 2004, at the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House.  He was born December 26, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mr. Duffey was an H. P. Technician at Hanford and lived in the Tri-Cities 10 years.

Jerry touched everyone he came in contact with in various ways.  Whether it was through music, humor, being a true friend, or the greatest father, brother or spouse, it was always profound and meaningful.  His sense of humor and always knowing just the “right thing to say” meant more to the people around him than anything.  Above all else at this time of sorrow he wanted his life to be celebrated. Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Duffey; children, Athena Ray, Roger Duffey and Curtis Duffey; son-in-law, Shirley Ray; grandchildren, Carrie Dodson, Adam Dodson and Taylor Bailey; sister, Dorothy O. Hand; brother, William Edward Duffey; great grandchildren, Halston Blankenship and Seth Dodson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Albert Duffey; mother, Eula Smith Duffey; and brother, Avert Dean Duffey.
