From Richland, WA, US | Born in New York City, New York
Alice K. Eagen
Alice Eagen was affectionately known as MOM by family and friends. Alice was born in New York City, NY on August 2, 1936 and passed away March 29, 2004, at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland, WA.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, James, married for 32 years. Her children are, Patricia Morrell, Karen Bachmann, a son, Kevin Bentley who pre-deceased her, sons-in-law, Duard Morrell and Bill Bachmann; grandchildren, Deanna Bowen and her husband, Clyde, Dylan Morrell, Kayla and Michael Bachmann; and one great grandchild, Morgan Bowen PeeWee. Sister, Kathleen Comack, also survives Alice.
She worked many years at Hanford. The loves of her life were being a wife, mom and grandma. Nothing gave her greater joy than her grandchildren and great grandchild whom she enjoyed babysitting. Her favorite pastime was baking cookies and treats and playing board games with them. She loved making quilts for her family and tending to her flower garden. She has made many friends over the years. She will be missed dearly by her family, but forever loved. Love you, Mom; love you, Grandma.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, at Einans Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Alice was the Mom I wished I had all through my teenage years, she was so easy to talk to and so hard to lie to.She always knew if Patty and I were up to no good! I know that she loved her children with all her might, and I know that she loved me and treated me like another daughter. I will always remember the days we’d go to 7-11 and get her a 16oz glass bottled Diet Pepsi. I will always remember my first car she sold me, a 1962 American Rambler! For 50.00 bucks! I knew how hard she would work to make sure her kids had beautiful Christmas’s, she was the best, now the Lord gets her beautiful presence. All our love and deepest prayers to all of you as you struggle missing this beautiful human being! I’ll miss you Alice, but I will never forget you! Keep the door open Alice, because I’m coming to visit you again too. Until our paths meet.

fun and interesting conversations. She was always

Jim and family,I first met Alice in 1990 when I came to Tank Farms. She was a very knowledgable operator that I and many others learned alot from.I have many fond memories of Alice putting management in their place when they were misbehaving and her fear of fake spiders and snakes of which I might of had something to do with. She was a fine person and will be sorely missed.Mike Fish
To Alices family, I did Alices hair now and then at Lively Look. Am also Shannon Welker’s aunt. I want to say we truly enjoyed Alice at our salon, she was a joy and always smiling, and bragging about her grandchildren. We will miss her very much. I’m sorry for y
our loss. Sincerely Patsy
Alice provided a “second home” to me and several friends in High School. She was always ready to feed us and give us iced tea. I was just looking at some pictures from that era UGH – Karen, we’re not that old! a couple weeks ago. She was very special to us.
Karen, Patty and Jim, and all your families, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
