Dana E. Waters, 84, of Richland, Washington died Monday, March 29, 2004, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland.
Dana was born to Earl and Julia Kennedy Melbourne, Sr. on March 8, 1920, in Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved to Springfield, MO in 1953, and had a vacation home in Shell Knob, MO which became her permanent home. In 2003, she moved to Richland, WA to be near her daughter.
She is survived by daughters, Julie Metteer and Marilyn Waters; grandsons, Richard Miller, Steven Miller and William Miller; 5 great grandchildren; and sister, Pauline Sebastian.
Dana was preceded in death by her husband in 1999.
At her request, there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Danas memory to the American Diabetes Association.
Dana was such a gem. she had a sweet and gentle nature about her and was just fun to talk to. she will be missed dearly from her friends her in springfield.
