For the short time, that I knew Howard, I don’t think that I could have met a nicer man in my life. Martha and Barbara can be very proud too have had a father like Howard. Bye Howard will see you on the other side of the rainbow. Gene and Dolly Dains Ortman
It has been a privilege to have know Howard for quite a few years. I have cut his hair as long as I can remember. He will be greatly missed. I do want to offer my best to the family.
I always tried to get Howard to get a computer. I even had one here I would have given him. Just couldn’t quite talk him into it.

I remember Howard Dains as a very kind, sweet, and considerate person who was quite proud of his children.
My mom just told me that Howard Mr. Dain passed away a couple of days ago. I was very sorry to hear this-he and his wife were two of the nicest people you’d ever meet.
I remember my brother Jonathan would always call him ‘Dain’. And the two of them would eat vanilla ice cream with butterscotch syrup.
I’ll always remember those pretty rugs they had on the floors, and the pretty piano.
I’ll miss them both!
